Essential Documentaries

Essential Documentaries

We firmly believe that there are some documentaries that are so powerful they would change the world completely if more people watched them.

Many of these documentaries should be compulsive viewing – shown in schools and many public places.

Please watch – please share – please change!

“Be the change you wish to see in the world”!

Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret is by far one of the most important and ground-breaking feature-length environmental documentaries of our time. It should be mandatory that everyone watches this – it should be shown on every TV channel in the world, in cinemas, theatres, on public transport, in schools, colleges and universities, in shops and any public place capable of showing it.

Cowspiracy follows intrepid filmmaker Kip Andersen as he uncovers the truth about the world’s most destructive industry and the one posing the biggest threat to our planet and all who live there! Kip investigates and tries to find out why the world’s leading environmental organisations are too afraid to actually discuss what is staring them right in the face.

Animal agriculture is the leading cause of our climate crisis! It is responsible for deforestation, water consumption and pollution, for producing more greenhouse gases than the entire transportation industry combined, and is a primary driver of rainforest destruction, species extinction, habitat loss, topsoil erosion, ocean “dead zones,” and virtually every other environmental ill.

Yet it goes on, almost entirely unchallenged.

This was made in 2014 when Greta was 11 and long before Extinction Rebellion – yet here we are!

Minimalism : A Documentary About The Important Things

We live in a world where most of us own way too many possessions. Minimalism is living in such a way that we only have what we need – this is beneficial for our own mental health because it reduces the desire for constantly chasing new possessions, hence never being satisfied. It also reduces physical clutter which instantly reduces clutter in the mind. It of course obviously also benefits our environment, and human & animal rights.

What the Health is another ground-breaking documentary from the creators of the above award-winning documentary Cowspiracy. This film exposes the collusion and corruption in government and big business that is costing us trillions of healthcare dollars, and keeping us sick. What The Health is a surprising, and at times hilarious, investigative documentary that will be an eye-opener for everyone concerned about our nation’s health and how big business influences it. Like Cowspiracy, this documentary has influenced thousands to rethink their lifestyle and make changes for the better of themselves, the planet, world hunger and of course the animals.
